It is a system which gives you the ability to watch who is ringing the bell, talk to the visitor and if you want open the door, from a device located in your house.
how can this be done?
A camera with a press button is installed outside the door which communicates with the indoor device. When the visitor presses the button, the camera comes alive and displays the video of the visitor at the indoor video phone.

Yes. Their primary use is for flats. one camera is installed outside the door which serves all the falts. each flat has to have a video door phone to watch the visitor.
